Administrative Division

The Administrative Division, led by Major Kevin Foust, is responsible for all police administrative services. This division oversees nine Communications Officers and their supervisor, eight Security Officers and their supervisor, the Community Outreach Unit, and numerous Campus Watch and Safe Ride wage employees.

The Administrative Division manages the incident based reports generated by the Patrol Division, which exceed 1,000 annually.  This division also furnishes crime analyses, ensures compliance with National Accreditation and other legal standards, and oversees the training of all sworn officers, dispatchers, security officers, wage and civilian employees. This division also ensures compliance with the best practices set forth by the Virginia Crime Commission.
