Ellen Krupar receives 2012 President's Award for Excellence
April 23, 2012 – Ellen Krupar, librarian for the Pamplin College of Business at Virginia Tech, has received the university's 2012 President's Award for Excellence.
She was nominated for the President's Award based on her extensive and selfless service as a community volunteer, specifically to the Virginia Tech Police.

Attempting to Identify Suspect in Home Invasion
January 23, 2012 – On January 22, 2012, at approximately 6:25 pm Blacksburg Police responded to the Orchard Lane area of town for a report of a home invasion and armed robbery. After arriving on the scene the alleged victim reported that three males, all appearing “college age”, entered his home.
