Online Report
This is a formal report. You are required to enter your name and contact information.
*Please note that this form of report only applies to larceny, vandalism, annoying/harassing phone calls, computer harassment, drugs, or assaults. All other crimes should be reported directly to the Virginia Tech Police at 231-6411, or by dialing 911.
Currently, our online report form is down. If you would like to report one of the above crimes, please email Lieutenant Curtis Cook at cookie@vt.edu. In your email, please include your full name, address, and phone number. Please answer the following questions, preferably in the order in which they are presented here.
1. Type of crime: Please note which of the above types of crime you are reporting
2. Time, date, and location of the incident. Please, be specific.
3. Description of the incident.
4. Description of Items Stolen/Vandalized (Please Include Value and Serial Numbers).
5. Suspect's Information (Name, Physical Description, etc).
6. Would you like a police follow-up? If so, an officer will meet with you as soon as the report is processed. If you do not wish to meet with an officer, the report will be considered "information only" and will be handled appropriately.
